CNC MACHINIST
Large manufacturing/production facility in the Beaumont area is currently seeking a CNC Machinist for their production department.
Job duties will include producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Supports daily manufacturing work schedule. Position will require working with drawings, measurements, as well as inspections of parts along with planning, loading parts, quality checks, and performing basic preventative maintenance functions of equipment.
Interested candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CNC operator with prior experience operating a horizontal lathe, measuring tools, and dial calipers and indicators. Knowledge of Fanuc Controls is a plus. Candidate must know how to properly load and align parts; tool offsetting, have ability to read and understand machining programs; understand the tolerances, surface finishes, and grinding requirements. Candidate must able to work well with minimal supervision, have knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts, etc. Must possess the basic math skills and be able to adapt to a changing work environment. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Interested candidate must be able and willing to work rotating 12 hour shifts.
SCHEDULE: Rotating 12 hour shifts: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
PAY: $21-23/hour plus $2 shift differential when working PM shift
DRESS CODE: Pants, Work shirt – (Solid Color)- Steel Toed boots, Hard hat and safety glasses.
