Process & Finish Technician
Location: Manufacturing & Production Company | Beaumont, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(Must be flexible for overtime and weekends as needed)
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour DOE
Position Type: Temporary / Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary
A manufacturing and production company in the Beaumont area is seeking a dependable Process & Finish Technician to assist with inspection, material handling, shipping preparation, and production support duties. This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final visual inspection of pipe threads and protectors prior to shipping
- Clean, deburr, phosphate, and measure protectors to ensure quality standards are met
- Measure hole and length dimensions using measuring instruments
- Learn to safely operate forklifts and backhoes
- Maintain understanding of all operating procedures and safety practices
- Identify thread types, applications, and serial numbers accurately
- Assist with inventory control and material identification when needed
- Support material flow and storage processes throughout the facility
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Good understanding of shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and indoors in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate lifting
- Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
- Must be dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently
- Safety-focused mindset and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Knowledge of inventory, shipping, and receiving processes preferred

- Physical Requirements: Moderate lifting, standing, bending, and walking throughout shift
- Dress Code: Work-appropriate industrial attire and steel-toed boots required
