📍 Location: Industrial Company | Orange, TX

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Position Type: Temporary (Potential for long-term placement)

Position Summary

An industrial company in the Orange area is seeking a dependable Trim Shop / General Laborer to assist with daily shop operations. This is a hands-on position working with materials, equipment, and general warehouse/shop duties.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in trim shop operations, including making trim on folding machines and operating slitters
Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and assist customers
Operate a forklift for material movement (experience required; certification preferred)
Transfer and stock materials throughout the warehouse and yard
Use hand tools and power tools to prepare materials
Measure and cut materials accurately for orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and yard
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Previous experience in a shop or similar industrial environment preferred
Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
Experience with pressure washer and/or blasting equipment preferred
Ability to read a measuring tape and perform basic math
Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Valid Driver’s License preferred

Additional Information

Dress Code: Steel-toed boots required; work-appropriate clothing
Work Environment: Industrial shop and yard setting
