Pay Rate: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule

Approximately 30-32 hours per week
Monday through Friday

Hours fall between:
9:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM

Some flexibility available

1-hour lunch daily

Position Summary

A local  office in Mid County is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to support daily operations. This role involves clerical duties, customer service, and financial record support in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers or route calls appropriately
  • Greet and assist the public with questions and account inquiries
  • Process payments and perform cashiering duties
  • Input and maintain accurate customer and account data
  • Prepare, monitor, and track work orders
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail (sorting, stamping, distributing)
  • Maintain filing systems and office records
  • Update delinquency database and coordinate with collection agencies
  • Operate standard office equipment and software
  • Assist with reporting and other duties as assigned by Office Manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service and cash handling experience required
  • Ability to type at least 45 WPM
  • 10-key by touch required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn – company will train on industry-specific software
