Now Hiring: Warehouse Associate – Lumber Warehouse
Location: Mid County, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
A local lumber warehouse in Mid County is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to assist with warehouse and millwork operations. This position involves pulling materials, loading/unloading deliveries, and assisting with customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull material to fill customer orders accurately
- Load and unload customer vehicles and delivery trucks
- Measure materials to specifications with precision (accuracy to 1/32″)
- Operate forklifts to move materials and assist with loading/unloading (certification preferred)
- Accompany drivers on deliveries to assist with unloading/loading at customer sites
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience operating forklifts (certification preferred)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting
- Ability to measure materials accurately using a tape measure
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
