Local Furniture Company in Beaumont area seeking a Service Manager for a temp to hire opportunity. The Service Manager will support and manage the Service Department and staff to ensure all procedures are completed as required and customer issues and complaints are addressed and resolved in a timely and professional manner.

Job duties will include but are not limited to assisting customers with complaints and questions as well as supplying information about products and services upon request, regarding warranties, repairs, and returns; opening up service tickets, collecting service fees, and scheduling shop repairs; follow up on parts orders, writing up exchanges, negotiation of credits, creation of return authorizations for defective merchandise; handling rap claims and reimbursements; communicate with managers and/or buyers on re-occurring issues and solutions; follow up with customers and prepare driver chargebacks.

Will also be responsible for completing daily/weekly/monthly reports as requested and submitting them to upper management. Must maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints as well as a resolution; provide feedback to upper management regarding the efficiency of the customer service process and any areas that may need attention or updating to ensure the customer’s needs are being fulfilled. Will provide Backup assistance for the front office when needed as well as other duties that may be assigned by the On-site supervisor.

This position requires communicating with multiple departments to ensure the needs of all customers are being met and handled accordingly. Must have a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers. The ability to acknowledge and resolve customer complaints. Attention to detail, good listening, and problem-solving skills are necessary.

Must have 1-2 years of general clerical and retail customer service experience and 1 year of previous managerial experience at a minimum. Experience with Excel and Word is required (must be proficient)and the ability to learn Industry Specific software is mandatory, training is provided. Looking for someone full time and is interested in a long term opportunity. Must be comfortable working Saturdays and able to work well as a Team.
