Property Management company in the Port Arthur area seeking to fill the position of Property Maintenance Technician.

This position will be responsible for maintaining dwelling units and grounds throughout complex as well as for routine carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs in response to service request and inspections of units. Specific duties will include making daily rounds in order to identify needs as well as to pick up trash and discard properly; repair or replace parts of electrical outlets, switches, light fixtures and/or fuses; repair or replace plumbing fixtures and fittings (such as leaking faucets, clogged drains, damaged toilets, etc.); minor carpentry repairs or replacements to damaged walls, ceilings, wood works, floors, gutters, doors, door locks, etc.; make minor repairs and adjustments to and installs various appliances and equipment such as refrigerators, gas and electric stoves, furnaces, etc.; repair and replace door and window screens and glass as needed; perform janitorial cleaning duties including floors, rest rooms, office areas, trash rooms, halls, etc.; build special use items such as podiums, counters, etc.; repair office furniture; all other related duties as assigned.
