Inventory Coordinator

Inventory Coordinator needed for a manufacturing company in the Beaumont area for a possible temp to hire position.

The main duties of this position is to record and maintain control of all inventory through data base of both purchased and produced to ensure required levels meet distribution demands while maintaining compliance with established internal control procedures.

Primary duties and responsibilities of this position include ensuring accurate inventory levels, product counts, and product locations as well as evaluating and monitor part inventories to ensure proper levels in accordance with demands, as well as assisting with preparation and execution of annual physical inventory. Will also be serve as point of contact for customer inventory related inquiries and visits as well as work closely with planning department to meet customer demands and on time delivery. Will also be responsible for coordinating with shipping/receiving and quality departments to ensure incoming product is received and inspected and any other duties as assigned.

Interested candidate must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in the related area of inventory control, warehouse, and/or logistics. The candidate should possess clerical and computer skills. Previous experience with ERP and Syteline software preferred. Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred as well. Candidate must be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (outside in all types of weather or inside a manufacturing environment) and be able to lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
