Local Furniture Warehouse in Beaumont seeking a Furniture Repair Shop Technician. This is a fulltime temp to hire opportunity for the right person.

Job duties will include in-home and shop repairs to furniture, varying from wood, upholstery, and leather repairs. Some repairs may require replacement of parts, woodworking, and sewing.

Responsibilities will also include providing customer service, handling paperwork, and working in customer/client homes.

Experience is preferred in Upholstery and Furniture repair, but willing to train the right person. Must be mechanically inclined and have basic knowledge of woodworking and construction. Must be comfortable with using hand tools, cutting tools, and sewing tools.

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is required. Must have a clean background and pass a drug screen.
