Access Control & Security Installation Technician
Location: Beaumont / Port Arthur Area (Multiple Job Sites)
Pay Rate: $15.00 – $24.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Hours Vary by Project
Must be flexible to work overtime and travel as needed.
Position Type: Minimum 30-Day Project Assignment with Potential for Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary
A leading alarm and security installation company is seeking dependable Access Control & Security Installation Technicians to assist with commercial installation projects throughout the Beaumont and Port Arthur area. This position offers the opportunity for long-term employment with the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience installing access control and CCTV systems, enjoy hands-on work, and be willing to travel for project assignments when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and install low-voltage cabling
- Install wiring, security equipment, and related components
- Assist with Access Control and CCTV system installations
- Read and follow installation instructions and project specifications
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Access Control and CCTV installation experience required
- 3+ years of related experience preferred
- Basic alarm system or electrical experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (assisted and unassisted)
- Comfortable working at varying heights using ladders and scaffolding
- Valid Driver’s License preferred

Travel & Credentials
- Travel is required and candidates must be flexible to travel, including out-of-state assignments lasting multiple weeks
- All travel arrangements and hotel accommodations are provided by the client when overnight travel is required
- TWIC Card preferred
- Client may assist with obtaining required credentials, including TWIC and ISTC, for qualified candidates
