SHOP HELPER
Marine company in the Port Arthur area seeking a shop helper.
Job responsibilities will include welder and shop helper, use of hand tools and power tools (grinder, saw, etc.), material handler, general laborer and warehouse duties. In addition to general maintenance around the yard and facility, including repairs, painting, mowing, and weed eating as well as picking up trash and debris, etc.
Interested candidates must have 1-2 years of experience in a similar environment with the ability to use hand and power tools, lift up to 50lbs unassisted and work outside in the elements.
Candidate must be dependable, hardworking, and not mind physical work.
TWIC card is preferred as well as PPE (steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and work gloves).
PAY: $18 – $19 an hour
SCHEDULE: 7a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
