Schedule
Approximately 30-32 hours per week
Monday through Friday
Hours fall between:
9:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM
Some flexibility available
1-hour lunch daily
Position Summary
A local office in Mid County is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to support daily operations. This role involves clerical duties, customer service, and financial record support in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers or route calls appropriately
- Greet and assist the public with questions and account inquiries
- Process payments and perform cashiering duties
- Input and maintain accurate customer and account data
- Prepare, monitor, and track work orders
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail (sorting, stamping, distributing)
- Maintain filing systems and office records
- Update delinquency database and coordinate with collection agencies
- Operate standard office equipment and software
- Assist with reporting and other duties as assigned by Office Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service and cash handling experience required
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM
- 10-key by touch required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn – company will train on industry-specific software
