Position: Shop Hand / General Laborer

Location: Orange, TX
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Position Summary

An industrial company in the Orange area is seeking a dependable Shop Hand / General Laborer to assist with daily shop operations. This position supports trim shop functions, material handling, equipment operation, and warehouse organization in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Primary Duties

Operate folding equipment and slitters in trim shop
Transfer materials throughout the shop
Use hand tools and power tools
Cut, measure, and prepare materials for orders
Load and unload trucks and customers using a forklift
Operate pick-up truck with 30′ gooseneck trailer when required
Assist with deliveries as needed
Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Previous shop or industrial experience required
Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
Valid Driver’s License required
Clean MVR required
Comfortable using pressure washer and blasting equipment
Strong math skills and ability to read measuring tape
Dependable with strong work ethic
