Pay Rate: $10.15 per hour

A local service company in Bridge City is currently hiring full-time Custodians and Janitors to join their growing team. This is a temp-to-hire position with long-term potential for dependable and hardworking individuals.

Position Overview:

Custodians and Janitors are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of facilities and buildings. This hands-on role includes a variety of cleaning, organizing, and light maintenance duties to ensure a sanitary and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean offices, conference rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
Perform floor care: vacuuming, mopping, sweeping
Dust, clean windows, and empty trash receptacles
Set up and arrange tables/chairs for daily use and special events
Groundskeeping: pick up trash, weed eating, etc.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; notify supervisor when supplies are low
Light maintenance: change light bulbs, filters, secure entrances/exits, report damages
Lock and secure the facility as needed

Requirements:

Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred
Willingness to train for candidates eager to learn
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive work ethic

Evening Shift:

2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
