HVAC TECHNICIANS
A local HVAC company in the Golden Triangle is seeking an HVAC Technician. This is a temp-to-hire position for the right person. Must have current EPA certification and HVAC license.
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Job duties will include the installation of systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings, complying with all local, state and federal regulations and manufacturing specifications. In addition, will be required to perform routine repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment; replace filters, parts and inspect components for damage, and emergency repair services.
Interested candidates must have strong communication skills, customer service, blueprint reading, technical manual interpretation, general clerical and documentation skills. In addition, candidates must have the ability to work independently or as a team member, physical capability to perform manual work, and lifting of equipment and working in confined spaces.
All candidates for consideration must have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, in addition to a current HVAC certification and EPA license with 2-3 years minimum experience.
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with flexibility to work as early as 6am. May be required to work overtime, weekends and on-call.
PAY: DOE
DRESSCODE: General work clothes, steel-toed footwear, and safety gear.
