HVAC system cleaning – LEAD TECH – Must have TWIC and ISTC Basic. Site specifics for Indorama and Motiva are a plus.
HVAC CLEANING
*Preparing the Work Area:
Prepare the necessary tools and equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, brushes, blowers, and sanitizing agents. Use of protective coverings to shield furniture, floors, and other areas from dust and debris.
*Cleaning the Ductwork:
Open access points to reach the ductwork, including air vents and returns. Use of specialized vacuum equipment to remove dust, dirt, and debris from the ductwork. Employ brushes or other agitation devices to dislodge stubborn debris from the duct walls. Clean the air registers and grills to remove dust buildup. Apply sanitizers or deodorizers if necessary to kill bacteria and eliminate odors.
*Cleaning Other HVAC Components:
Remove dust and debris from coils, drip pans, and other components to ensure efficient operation. Replace or clean air filters as needed to maintain air quality and system efficiency. Check the insulation around the ductwork for damage or mold growth and replace it if necessary.
*Reassembly and Final Inspection:
Close access points and reassemble the HVAC system. Perform a final inspection to ensure that the ducts and other components are clean and properly reassembled.
*Compliance with Standards:
Ensure that all cleaning procedures comply with industry standards, such as those set by NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association). Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and others from exposure to contaminants and chemicals used during cleaning.
*Other work duties will include sheetrock repairs and installation, painting, and site and equipment clean-up.
Interested candidates must have the ability to carry/lift 50lbs, work on their feet for up to 12 hours daily and work inside/outside in varying weather conditions (heat/cold/rain, etc.) and be able to work in attics, on roofs at at varying heights dependent upon the work area.
Requirements – Minimum of a high school diploma/GED preferred. Valid ID/DL and reliable transportation. Current TWIC Card, ISTC Basic and flexibility with schedule.
This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right person.
Pay is $20 p/hr
Schedule – Regular work hours for scheduled work are 8 am-3 pm may be required to work later based on the needs of the assignment.
