FLAGGER/SPOTTER
Local Industrial Company seeking Flaggers/Spotters for a project in Mid-County. This project is expected to last 3 months.
Flagger/Spotter responsibilities will include directing traffic, following all road safety policies within the facility, and maintaining safe operations as equipment and materials are transferred and operated within the facility. Duties will include the use of hand signals and radios to communicate actions to ensure safe movement in the facility, setting up appropriate signage for closures, do not enter zones, barricades, etc. In addition, will assist with rubble and debris removal.
Interested candidates must have proven experience working as a flagger/spotter and have completed safety certification for flagging/spotting. With a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a flagger/spotter. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in the elements. Exceptional observation and communication skills are required for this position.
All interested candidates must have ISTC basic safety current and TWIC card (must be current and in hand, receipt is not suitable). Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.
PAY: $15-18 per hour DOE
SCHEDULE: possible 7/12’s – must be flexible to work overtime including nights and weekends.
