Dispatcher
Local Marine Services Company in Mid County seeking a Dispatcher for their office. This position is a fulltime opportunity and is temp to hire for the right person.
Job duties will include dispatching of all workers, crew, equipment and vessels for transport and receiving of all vessels, materials, and freight, as well as any emergency correspondence. Correspondence is conducted using telephone, hand held radio, and computer transmission and tracking.
Duties also include maintaining the schedule, making adjustments due to changes in arrivals, weather, or any other delay such as an emergency. Responsible for providing accurate and detailed information to customers and supervisors regarding all changes to the schedule.
Must have great communication skills, both verbal and written, attention to detail and good time management skills. Must also have great customer service skills.
Interested candidates are preferred to have previous dispatching experience, but client is willing to train the right person. Must have clean background, and pass drug screen.
