GENERAL LABORER/GROUNDSKEEPER
Local Cemetery Service Company in the Mid County area seeking a part time general laborer/groundskeeper. The position is starting off part time but could turn into a long term opportunity for the right person.
Job duties will include grounds keeping and maintenance duties such as grass cutting, weed eating, maintaining shrubbery, and picking up trash and debris. Will also assist with the set-up and arrangement for burial services, setting head stones and grave markers. Will also be required to assist with general repairs and facility maintenance of grave sites and structures on-site, including fencing, monuments, roads and any other duties as assigned.
Must be comfortable with working outside in elements (hot, cold, rain, etc.). This position is flexible in the hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours weekly depending on the workload, as well as the season. Days of operation will generally be Tuesday through Saturday, must be available Saturdays for burial service preparations. Previous experience with landscaping and grounds maintenance is preferred.
