Location: Port Arthur, TX
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM
(Some weekends and overtime required based on client needs)

Position Summary
An industrial fabrication shop in the Port Arthur area is seeking a Fab Shop Helper to assist with all aspects of shop operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term growth for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with measuring and cutting materials
-
Operate band saw and other shop machinery
-
Organize and place products according to specifications

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop

Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial or fabrication shop setting preferred

Ability to read a measuring tape down to 1/32 of an inch
-
Dependable with strong attention to detail
-
Willingness to learn and follow shop processes

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods
-
Steel-toed boots required
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
