WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN (Lake Charles, LA)
Industrial Rental Company seeking a Warehouse Technician in their Downtown Lake Charles, LA location for a possible temp to hire, long term position.
Job duties will include sorting parts and materials, organizing equipment, stocking materials and parts, maintaining the work area, monitoring and tracking inventory, as well as pulling orders for distribution and ship out for use. Will operate forklift to load and unload materials, organize inventory and pull orders.
Must be willing to cross train where needed, work as a team, take direction, and make sure weekly schedule is met. Insure OSHA standard work practices, Keep all work areas neat and organized, Fill out low stock notices and maintain inventory on parts and supplies for shop.
Interested candidates must have 2-3 years previous experience in the same or similar position. Candidate must be creative in their work and have ability to come up with options to make repairs as needed. Candidate must be dependable, have reliable transportation, and have ability to work overtime as needed.
Diploma or GED required, Must have forklift cert OR be willing to obtain one from onsite forklift cert trainer. Valid Driver’s license is required (prefer LA License).
