General Construction Company in the Golden Triangle area seeking a Project Estimator. Must have previous experience in Residential and Commercial Construction. This is a temp to hire position for the right person.

Job duties will include cost and time estimating for individual projects, this includes materials, labor, and time projections, including any sub-contracting. Review of all estimate and quote documents for accuracy and clarity. Responsible for reviewing all information with potential customers, processing their feedback, and making adjustments to ensure all client/company needs are identified and met.

Must have good communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to interact with Clients, Vendors, Contractors, and the Public. Must have strong public relations skills and customer/client care skills. Must be capable of working with little to no supervision and maintaining deadlines. Attention to detail and problem solving are necessary.

Previous experience in estimation and cost planning is required and it is preferred to be in a construction background. Must have experience using Xactimate Software and general computer use with MS Office, Excel, etc. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and scheduling flexibility.
