PROCESS & FINISH TECHNICIAN
Process and Finish Technician needed for a Manufacturing and Production company in the Beaumont area.
The main job duties for this position will include but are not greasing pipe connections, installing pipe protectors, rolling pipe, cutting chocks, applying stencils, use various tools such as a 4″ grinder, buffing wheels, dial calipers, and measuring tapes. Will also be responsible for operating a 8k forklift and overhead crane when needed. Will be responsible to generate non-compliance reports, corrective action and/or preventative actions in accordance with the appropriate operating procedure. Will also be responsible for maintaining and promoting a safe working environment as well as participating in actions which promote a safety and quality environment.
Interested candidates must be able and willing to successfully work in a fast-paced atmosphere in order to meet customer deadlines. Candidate must have strong attention to detail and be able to proficiently follow work instructions. Candidate must not mind getting dirty and have ability to lift up to 25lbs. Candidate must be reliable and dependable and available to work overtime when needed including nights and weekends. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in the industrial field. Interested Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED for consideration.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p (overtime may be required).
PPE REQUIRED: Steel Toe Boots, Hard Hat
PAY: $19/hour DOE
