Painter/Shop helper
Industrial Service Company in the Port Arthur area, seeking a painter/shop helper. Job duties will be to paint valves, actuators, and level gauges. Will utilize compressed air spray gun with paint container. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: covering nameplates, etc. in order to protect during painting, surface preparation, select paint according to company color scheme and specifications, maintain a clean work environment, other duties as required. Must be able to read and follow customer painting specifications, work independently with minimal supervision as a team member, communicate clearly with supervision and repair team members. Candidates must exhibit a strong work ethic, be dependable and reliable, and show initiative. General schedule will be Monday through friday 8am to 5pm, however may be needed to work overtime and weekends possibly. Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
