MATERIAL HANDLER
Industrial company in the Beaumont area seeking a Material Handler for a possible long-term, permanent position. This is a great opportunity for the right person!
This position will be responsible for recognizing the product produced by the Client and learning how to inspect, repair, and care for the products as well as understanding the technologies to be able to provide the Customers with the highest quality product as well as contributing daily to the quality process. Job duties will also include engaging and assisting with all yard work and assisting in other departments as needed.
Interested candidates must have 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing field or similar field. The candidate must have a good understanding of basic math and writing skills, be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, be able to stand and work in adverse work conditions and be able to use basic measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, etc.). The candidate must be able to learn and manually work machines and equipment as well as have the ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Previous experience with a 4” grinder is a plus.
This is a day shift position however interested candidates must be willing and able to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
