Property Management Company in the Orange area seeking a Maintenance Technician. This is a fulltime position with temp to hire potential for the right person.
The main job duties will include preventative and scheduled maintenance of the units and the facility. Clean-out and make-ready of rental units, completing minor repairs, painting, and replacement of appliances and fixtures. This will include basic repair work (patch holes, etc.), basic carpentry work (replace broken door frames and trim work, etc.), basic electrical (replace light bulbs, switch plate covers, etc.), cleaning of unit as needed, and any other work as designated by an on-site supervisor. Will also be responsible for handling any work orders or maintenance requests received from tenants, this may include plumbing repairs, appliance issues or HVAC concerns, will be responsible for troubleshooting, performing repairs and replacements if needed and general grounds keeping duties.
Interested candidates should have at least three years’ experience in a Make-ready or a Maintenance position, with job duties like the ones listed. Candidate must be organized and able to manage their time well. Must also be dependable and able to work as scheduled Monday through Friday, daytime hours, and available for 24-hour on call rotation. Must be comfortable with overtime and weekend hours. Must have your own transportation, valid driver’s license, and tools. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. HVAC certification is preferred but not required.
