INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

NOW HIRING: TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE (ALARM & SECURITY INSTALLATION)

Location: Beaumont / Port Arthur Area (Multiple Job Sites)
Pay: $15.00 – $24.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Hours TBD
Type: Project-Based | Minimum 30 Days | Possible Temp-to-Hire
Travel: Required (out-of-state travel for weeks at a time; all travel arrangements provided)

Position Summary

An Alarm and Security Installation company is seeking a Technician Apprentice for an upcoming project in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to gain hands-on experience with the potential to transition into a long-term role.

Key Responsibilities

Pull and route cabling
Install wiring and security equipment
Assist with Access Control and CCTV installations
Follow detailed installation instructions and safety procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned
Work overtime as needed

Requirements

Experience with Access Control and CCTV installations required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions closely
Willingness to learn additional skills and assist as needed
Reliable with strong attendance
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, assisted and unassisted
Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolds, etc.)
Basic alarm or electrical knowledge preferred
Valid driver’s license preferred
Veteran candidates encouraged to apply

Additional Information

TWIC card preferred (client will assist with covering some credential costs such as TWIC or ISTC)
Overnight travel required when working out of town
- Hotel accommodations and transportation provided by the client

Jeans and solid t-shirt
Steel-toe shoes required
Additional PPE provided by the client
