Local Utility Company is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for a temporary assignment , could be temp to hire for the right person.
Job Summary: To perform clerical customer service duties in support of utility service activities, including requests for service, payments, billing, customer complaints, providing customers with account information and maintaining related financial records.
Duties will include:
Answering phones, receiving the public, providing customer service, cashiering, data processing and filing. Answering in-coming calls, and route callers or provide necessary information. Receive the public and answer questions, respond to any inquiries from employees, customers, and others, refer when necessary to appropriate people. Operate office machinery as required, prepare, monitor, and track work orders. Receive, stamp, and distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail. Input data to standard office forms, post information to accounts, and compile data for reporting purposes. Maintain customer delinquency database and provide updates to the collection service agency as needed. In addition will be responsible for any other responsibilities as assigned by the Office Manager.
Interested candidates must have a minimum of one years’ experience with customer service and cash handling. Must also have the ability to type 45wpm, 10-key by touch, and strong organization skills. Must have basic computer experience and use with MS office. *Company will train on their Industry Specific Software.
SCHEDULE – Monday through Friday, hours are between 8am and 5pm daily.
PAY: $14 per hour
DRESSCODE: Business Casual – Jeans (no rips, holes or tears) and blouse. May be needed to dress up on certain days for meetings, this will be notified in advance.
