Location: Port Arthur, TX
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Type: Temporary with potential to go permanent for the right person


Position Summary

An environmental company in the Port Arthur area is seeking a Billing Assistant for a possible temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports billing and administrative operations and includes cross-training to assist other departments as needed. Training will be provided by the client.


Key Responsibilities

  • Scan paperwork and upload to shared drive

  • Assist with invoice submissions

  • Match backup documentation to invoices and scan to shared drive

  • Process purchase orders and office supply orders

  • Assist with transfer center tracking

  • Provide coverage for the dispatch department during lunches and vacations

  • Perform additional clerical and administrative tasks as assigned


Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of clerical or office experience

  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail

  • Proficient computer skills, including Excel

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities

  • Dependable with reliable transportation

  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Business Casual:

  • Jeans allowed (no holes)

  • Dress shirt/top (no spaghetti straps or sleeveless tops)

  • Casual shoes (no tennis shoes)
