ATHLETICS HEAD CUSTODIAN
Now Hiring: Athletics Head Custodian
Location: Bridge City, TX
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $11.75 – $18.18/hour (DOE)
Position Summary
A reputable service company in Bridge City is seeking a Head Custodian to lead their Athletics team. This is a temp-to-hire position offering full-time hours, growth opportunities, and leadership responsibilities within a dedicated custodial team.
Key Responsibilities

Assign and oversee daily duties of custodial/janitorial staff

Clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas

Perform floor care: vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing, and buffing
-
Dust surfaces, clean windows, and empty trash receptacles

Sanitize and clean gym equipment

Laundry services for towels, uniforms, etc.

Set up and arrange tables/chairs for daily use and special events
-
Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and submit restock requests

Perform minor maintenance tasks: change light bulbs, filters, report damages

Lock and secure facility entrances/exits

Assist with basic groundskeeping (trash pickup, weed eating, etc.)

Other duties as assigned by onsite supervisor
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a custodial leadership role

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability
-
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Dress Code

Solid-colored shirts (polo/plain T-shirt)

Closed-toe shoes

Spirit shirts allowed on Tuesdays and Fridays
