Position Summary
A local company is seeking dependable Event Laborers to assist with a large corporate crawfish boil. This is a one-day assignment supporting event operations, including maintaining cleanliness and assisting at serving stations.
This role will begin at a slower pace and increase in activity as the event progresses, requiring candidates who can stay engaged and maintain a strong work pace throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain trash throughout the facility, including shop areas, warehouse, and serving lines
- Remove and transport full trash bags to designated dumpsters
- Assist with handing out dipping sauce at serving lines
- Rotate between trash duties and serving line support as needed
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment
- Interact professionally with customers and vendors
Work Environment
- Indoor, air-conditioned warehouse setting
- Trash cans are on wheels for easier transport
- On-site supervisor will assist with forklift transport of heavier loads
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Must be reliable and able to work the entire scheduled shift
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the event
- Comfortable working around the public in a professional manner
- Must follow all instructions and remain productive during the assignment
⚠️ Important: Employees must remain actively working throughout the event. Those who stop working or leave early may be dismissed and not paid for the full shift.
Dress Code
- Navy blue shirt
- Jeans (no holes, rips, or sagging; must fit appropriately)
- Tennis shoes
