Class B CDL Driver
Local School District in the Orange County area seeking Seasonal Bus Drivers for the school year & summer time! This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a great schedule and is a DIRECT HIRE position!
Bus Driver duties will include the safe transport of students to and from school, following established routes and schedules. Ensuring the bus is in good operating condition by conducting daily inspections and reporting any maintenance issues. Maintaining order and discipline among students during transport, enforcing school policies and guidelines. Assisting students with boarding and disembarking the bus as needed. Communicate effectively with school personnel, parents, and students to address any concerns or issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, always ensuring the safety of students. Keep accurate records of bus routes, schedules, and maintenance logs.
Interested candidates must have a Valid Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) with a passenger (P) & school bus (S) endorsement. A clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations. Previous experience as a school bus driver or in a similar role preferred but training will be provided. Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. High level of patience and understanding when dealing with children.
SCHEDULE: 6am-8:30am & 2:25pm-4:45pm
PAY $17.50 – $25.67 p/hr DOE
DRESS CODE: Jeans and solid colored T-shirt, closed toed shoes.
