FIBER OPTIC TECHNICIANS
Local Technical Company seeking experienced Fiber Technicians for projects in SETX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right person.
Job duties will include the installation, termination, and testing of fiber optic cabling and other telecom devices.
Interested candidates must have 1-3 years minimum experience in the installation of Telecom devices including CCTV, PAGA, LAN, WLAN, SLAN, etc., and the termination and testing of Telecom cabling including LV, structured cabling, analogue backbone, coaxial and fiber optics. A technical Diploma or certification is preferred, or equivalent experience is required. Must be proficient in the use of electrical tools and equipment to perform installation, termination and testing of instruments.
In addition, all interested candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and be proficient with the use of laptops, mobile devices and Microsoft platforms preferred.
This position will require travel, all interested candidates must be available for travel throughout the U.S.
Valid drivers license and transportation is required.
SCHEDULE: To be determined and varies by project. Must be flexible to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
PAY: Pay will depend on experience and certification.
DRESSCODE: General work clothes, including steel-toed footwear and safety gear.
MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS.
