WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Local Warehouse Supply in Beaumont, seeking a fulltime Warehouse Associate for a temp to hire opportunity. This is a long term position for the right person with potential to grow with the company!
Primary duties will be receiving, distributing, and storing materials, tools, products and equipment within the warehouse, while ensuring accuracy and timelines of all job functions.
Will be responsible for shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking in materials. Also responsible for handling purchase and sales order paperwork, matching orders to products and shipments and completing paperwork for sales associates to process. Additional responsibilities include pulling orders, material handling, restocking, inventory control and monitoring, tracking and logging shipments and distribution of products and keeping the warehouse clean and safe for operation. May use a forklift or other equipment to expedite the functions of the work load such as unloading, material transfers, etc. Additional duties may be assigned by the onsite supervisor.
Interested candidates must have strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills, in addition to basic computer and mathematics abilities. Strong time management and a good attitude are mandatory in this role. Previous experience in a similar or the same role is required with a minimum of 1-2 years. In addition the ability to operate a forklift is preferred with a current certification, however this is trainable.
Must be able to work within the warehouse and outside yard with exposure to certain elements such as sun, rain, heat, cold, etc. Must have the ability to lift 50lbs unassisted and with the ability to lift objects that weigh more than 100lbs on occasion. Vision requirements include close vision, distance, color, peripheral, focus and depth perception.
HIGH SCHOOL Diploma or GED is required.
Valid drivers license is preferred due to the nature of the work performed and the opportunity for promotions and growth.
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
PAY: $15/16 per hour DOE
