Location: Port Arthur, TX
Pay: $15–$17 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

A local Property Management Company in the Port Arthur area is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 60-day contract assignment, with the potential to transition into a long-term role for the right candidate.
This position requires hands-on experience in property maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance
Complete make-ready tasks including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
Replace appliances, fixtures, door frames, trim, switch plates, and related components
Conduct basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs
Troubleshoot and complete tenant work orders
Assist with general groundskeeping and facility upkeep
Participate in on-call rotation and work overtime or weekends as needed
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
Must have own basic tools
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation preferred
Candidates without a driver’s license may be considered if they are actively working toward obtaining one within the first 90 days.
