VALVE TECHNICIAN
Local Valve Company seeking a Valve Technician in Beaumont.
Job duties include disassembling valves and preparing for reassemble (cleaning, blasting, painting etc.) as well as sorting parts for shot and sandblasting.
This is a temporary project expected to last 2-3 months but may have potential for other opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with valves, excellent communication skills, ability to read and follow directions, as well as be mechanically inclined. Must be able to work as a team and willing to work in other areas as needed. Interested candidates need to be able to work up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week if needed depending on workload.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or the equivalent, and a clean background as well as a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
HOURS: Hours will typically be Mon-Thu 7a-4:30p, Fri 7a-11:30a however must be available to work overtime including weekends when needed.
PAY: Ranging from $18-25 DOE
PPE: Steel Toe boots
