STRUCTURAL WELDER
Manufacturing Company in the Beaumont area seeking an experienced Structural Welder for a possible temporary to permanent position.
This position will be responsible for stick (SMAW) and flux core (FCAW) welding as well as grinding long seams and girth seams. Duties will also include operating equipment to move materials in and out, loading and unloading by use of crane. Previous crane operating experience preferred but not required. Will also be responsible for assisting with maintaining cleanliness of shop and work areas.
Interested candidates must be able to horizontal and vertical welding test. Preferred three years prior welding experience, however may consider someone with a minimum of two years’ experience. Must also be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (outside in all types of weather or inside in a manufacturing environment) for a minimum of 8 hours as well as be able to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends. Must be able and available to work overtime as needed.
