📍 Location: Mid County, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour and up DOE
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary
A local golf cart company is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Small Engine Mechanic to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working on lawn mowers, ATVs, side-by-sides, generators, or other small engine equipment who is looking for a stable, long-term career opportunity.
Previous golf cart experience is not required. Candidates with strong small engine repair experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair small engine equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Replace and repair parts as needed
- Perform inspections and identify repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete repairs safely and efficiently
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous small engine mechanic experience required
- Experience with lawn mowers, ATVs, UTVs, generators, golf carts, or similar equipment preferred
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Must have your own basic mechanic tools
- Toolbox and socket sets required
- Air tools are a plus
- Reliable transportation required
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
