Quality Inspector
Production and manufacturing company in the Beaumont area currently seeking a Quality Inspector. Position will start on a temporary basis but has potential to become a long term, permanent position.
The main job duties of this position will be verifying product conforms to internal specifications, customer requirements, and applicable codes and standards (verification will be performed through the use of various gauges and through interpretation of NDE results). Position will also require performing receiving inspections, laser alignments, as well as bevel and thread inspections with use of molds, overlays, and optical comparator.
Position will assist Quality Specialist with NDE and calibrations as well as any other duties as defined by Quality Manager.
Interested candidate must have a minimum of one year previous experience with the same or similar type position. Previous working
experience and knowledge of NDE a plus. Candidate must be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as have ability to create and maintain spreadsheets. Experience with basic measuring devices and hand tools needed. Candidate must be able to stand and work in adverse conditions (position will require working outside at times as well as inside a manufacturing environment) as well as be able to extensive walking, bending, and moderate to heavy lifting.
This position will work a rotating shift. Candidate must be willing and able to work rotating shifts as well as overtime and weekends as needed.
