A local cemetery service company in the Mid County area is currently seeking a part-time office assistant to start immediately.
This is a possible temp-to-hire position for the right person.
Job duties will include but are not limited to greeting and assisting visitors coming into the office, pulling files, locating information within the files, filing, light data entry, answering incoming calls, and some light sales. Will also be responsible for housekeeping and some janitorial work.
Interested candidates must have a minimum of 1-year previous experience working in an office setting. Must be able to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) as well as be able to work well with the public. The candidate must be detail-oriented, be proficient with filing, have the ability to multitask and work well unsupervised.
This position is starting off as a part-time opportunity but may require some full-time hours occasionally. Must be flexible with schedule and open to some weekend work as well. Will work an average of 10 to 20 hours weekly, hours would be between 9 am and 4 pm.
