NETWORK INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Locally owned IT firm in Mid County is seeking an experienced CATV (Cable TV) Network Installation Technician to work as part of our field service team to install, troubleshoot, and repair various voice and data cables for both residential and commercial environments.
Duties and responsibilities will be to install, maintain, and repair RF cable systems. To test and troubleshoot issues with RF network communications. Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly and lines are installed properly. Repair related poles and towers to resolve cable issues if needed. Pull, route, or label, COAX, CAT5 or CAT6 cable. Installation of various support structures, including cable racks, j-hooks, inner duct, and other related structures. Install/Repair, program and provision, HD and Standard Definition Set Top Boxes, Remote Controls, Cable Modems, Wi-Fi Routers, AP Devices, and DVRs.
Interested candidates must have a High school diploma or equivalent. A Minimum of 1 year of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing cable for network communications. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history. Communication skills with the ability to successfully collaborate with other members of the team.
