LEASING/OFFICE ASSISTANT

Local apartment complex in Beaumont seeking a Leasing/Office Assistant for a temp to hire opportunity for the right person!

Job duties will include answering phones, taking messages, answering tenant and potential resident questions, possibly showing properties and writing up maintenance requests and orders.

Interested candidates must have 2 years previous work experience in a similar role with similar duties. Must have a valid driver’s license and be dependable. Bilingual is a plus!

Apartment complex in the Beaumont area is seeking a leasing agent for a possible temp to hire position.

Job duties will include recording and updating details of prospective and existing tenants into the computer database. Examining properties and informing maintenance staff of issues. Advertising available properties, marketing and conducting property tours. Completing lease applications and assisting with the verification of application information. Addressing and complaints and concerns with tenants and prospective tenants. Accepting rent payments and security deposits.

Interested candidates must have good communication skills both verbal and written, excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills and the flexibility to work extended hours if needed. Knowledge of property management principles are preferred but not required.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm Mon thru Fri and 10-4 on some Saturdays

Pay is $15 per hour.

Valid Driver’s License is required. Prefer Bilingual. (English/Spanish)
