Industrial company in the Port Arthur area seeking to fill a Human Resource/Timekeeper position. This is a long term, temp to hire position for the right candidate!

Job duties will include but are not limited to recruiting, interviewing, hiring new employees as well as completing the onboarding process; terminations; ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant; develop and implement training material as needed; schedule training; report to management and provide updates from the HR department. Will also be responsible for assisting with timekeeping.

Interested candidates must have minimum of 5 years previous experience in HR. Candidate must have excellent listening and communication skills; knowledge of HR procedures and practices; have excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task; be competent to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. Candidate should have knowledge of working with benefits including 401k, medical insurance, etc.

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm – One hour lunch daily.

PAY $16 – $20 per hour DOE
