Engineering firm in the Beaumont area seeking a HR Administrative Assistant for a project position.
Job duties for this position will include ensuring all necessary paperwork for onboarding is completed and submitted by employee in a timely manner; follow up with supervisor and/or manager regarding any missing or incomplete paperwork; ensuring compliance with requirements for drug screening, backgrounds, and training; ensure all adequate information is on pay changes, terminations, and transfers sent from the field prior to being sent for processing; assist with removing employees from drug screen pools whenever they are termed; enter employee information and upload documents into employee file; conduct internal audits of various HR documentations and follows up to collect missing documents; create and update reports as needed; assist with any other job duties as needed.
Interested candidate must be able to work professionally with confidential information as well as have a good attention to detail and excellent organization skills. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communications and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Previous experience in the Industrial Construction field working in HR, Payroll or as an Admin Assistant is required as well as experience with onboarding and scheduling with UKG, DISA, ISTC, and PTC. Candidate must be dependable and able multi task with minimal supervision. BILINGUAL IS A PLUS BUT NOT A MUST.
This position may require occasional traveling as remote jobs come up.
This position will start on a temporary basis with the expectation to last approximately 12-15 weeks however, the position could possibly turn into a permanent position for the right candidate!
