Local Industrial company in the Beaumont area is seeking a Secretary/Safety Admin. This is a great long-term opportunity for the right person!

Will be responsible for coordinating with managers to assure departmental clerical needs are met within schedule requirements and compliance.

Responsible for Environmental and Safety Permit filing and ensuring compliance with NCMS, Veri force, isnetwork, etc., duties will include data entry, job assigning, re-assignment, updates to demographics and logistic information, auditing projects to ensure training is current, scheduling classes, and verification of certifications.

Duties also include handling Accounts payable, receivables, some data entry and payroll processing, as well as general clerical and miscellaneous correspondence (phones, emails, faxes, etc.), and any other duties as assigned by the onsite-supervisor.

Interested candidates must have 2-3 years of safety admin assistant experience and a minimum of 2 years clerical/accounting experience. QuickBooks experience is preferred.  Must have good oral and written communication skills, intermediate to advanced office skills (software, multiple platform databases, etc.) and the ability to work with confidential materials. A valid driver’s license is required.
