Document Control Coordinator needed to work at a local refinery in the Port Arthur area. This is a temp-to-hire job opportunity for a third party company.

In this role, you will work with a team of Document Controllers to implement and manage document control operations by maintaining and administering document control standards and facilitating the process of document turnover at the end of projects.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity would have 3+ years of full-cycle electronic document control experience, including project closeout. Oil and Gas industry experience with a thorough understanding of engineering, facility, and operations documentation.

Interested candidates must have working knowledge of SharePoint and/or other Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS). Strong experience in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Effective collaboration and facilitation skills; this is a team-based environment with interaction among team members and the client. Excellent writing skills, i.e., technical documentation, specifications, training materials, and presentations. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. The ability to remain flexible when dealing with changing client requirements as well as being able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with SmartPlant Foundations a plus but not a must.

High School diploma required, with a minimum of 3 years Document Control Full Cycle experience.

Schedule: 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday.

Pay: $25-35 per hour DOE.
