CONSTRUCTION COMPLIANCE AUDITOR

A local property management company is hiring a Construction Compliance Auditor for a temp-to-hire position.

Primary responsibilities include reviewing payroll documents from contractors and subcontractors, verifying worker classifications per project, ensuring compliance with wage determinations, and tracking employee records such as demographics, classifications, and wages. Additional duties involve conducting on-site interviews, auditing insurance certificates, preparing and reviewing contracts for compliance, and processing subcontractor invoices and documentation.

Candidates should possess a robust administrative background, supported by 2-3 years of relevant experience and exceptional communication skills. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (including MS Word and Excel) as well as with Google Documents and Sheets is essential. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Knowledge of the Davis-Bacon Act and Federal Labor standards, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, is preferred. A minimum of a highschool diploma or equivalent is required.

This position requires flexibility with travel, as it will involve traveling to project sites at least 50% of the time.

Valid drivers license and transportation is required.

PAY: $17-18 per hour DOE

SCHEDULE: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, but may require additional hours, including weekends and some overtime.
