ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Part Time Administrative Assistant needed for Mid County church.

This position will be responsible for basic accounting needs of church (paying utilities, donations, etc.) as well as supporting the Pastoral Staff in managing office responsibilities.

Duties will also include but are not limited to answering and screening incoming calls; returning calls as needed; maintaining Church membership records and making sure they are up to date; send request for Church letters and letters of recommendation; coordinate in creating certain Welcome Letters; mail outs; prepare announcements, mail outs, emails, etc.; mail; maintain online calendar; prepare bulletins for Sunday services. Will also be responsible for accounts payable (bills and issuing checks) as well as serving as purchasing agent when necessary.
Interested candidate must be able to work with and maintain confidential information pertaining to Church body as well as to the Church.

Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working in the same or in a similar position as well as have strong attention to detail, be dependable, have strong organizational skills (both verbal and written), as well as have experience with computer usage.

This position is a part time position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday 11:30 am – 5 pm. Pay will DOE
