Accounting Clerk needed for Commercial Shipping Company in Port Arthur.

Duties will also include but are not limited to answering calls and taking messages; returning calls as needed; maintaining all shipping records and documents in accordance to all FDA requirements and regulations. Responsibilities will also consist of banking, deposits, invoicing and document control (review, process and submitting).

Previous experience is required in Accounting as well as general banking knowledge. Would prefer a degree in Accounting (bachelors or associates) but would consider someone with extensive work experience as well. Willing to train in other aspects of the position for the right person.

Must have a clean background, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be a team player, detail oriented and bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Professional communication skills and phone etiquette required.

Must be available to work Monday through Friday and flexible with business hours between the hours of 8am and 4pm. This position is part time or fulltime opportunity based on the candidates needs and is a temp to hire opportunity for the right person.

Pay will range between $15-20 per hour, depending on experience.
