Shop Hand/General Laborer
Marine Service company in the Mid County area seeking shop hands/general laborers for general shop work as well as building and equipment repairs and maintenance, clean-up work, shipping and receiving, unloading deliveries, painting, moving things around the yard, forklift operations and anything as instructed by supervisors within the shop.
Interested candidates must be dependable, hardworking, and not mind doing physical work. Candidates must have previous forklift experience as well as a valid driver’s license. TWIC card a plus however not a must. If Candidate does not have a TWIC card at this time, they must be willing to get one prior to hiring on permanent with the Client.
This position is a possible temp to hire position. Once the position goes permanent with the Client, the job duties will require working on the barges and ships that are docked. Interested candidates should not mind this type of work in order to be considered for this position.
PPE required for position include steel toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and work gloves.
