Shop Assistant
Shop Assistant needed for a production and manufacturing company in the Beaumont area. Job duties will include but are not limited to assisting operators within the shop while learning shop procedures and equipment operations. Will also be responsible for deburring and cleaning pipe connections for inspection and coating as well as maintaining a clean work area daily.
Interested candidates needs to have a minimum one year’s prior experience in the same or similar type position and must be able to operate and understand measurement tools including micrometers and calipers. Candidate must have a mechanical aptitude and work well with others. Candidate must be dependable, be able to work a rotating shift, and work overtime (including weekends) as needed.
